May Tavern feedback

Postby Coraxonyx » Mon May 10, 2010 12:29 pm

Thanks to all who ate in the Tavern this month. I hope the food and drink was plentiful and tasty enough for everyone!

Special thanks to Blake and Kelly (I hope that's right), Jarius and Matt the pretty kitty for prep work and dishes on Friday and Saturday as well as Rings, Merculi, Stitch, 42, Tim and the fine Sunday sweeping and cleaning crew who helped us knock the Tavern back into shape on Sunday. Your help is VERY MUCH appreciated and I do try to recognize your efforts with goblin points. If you did help and I forget when I'm signing you out, PLEASE remind me! I want people to get credit for their help.

Also thanks to ALL Taverngoers who bussed their own cups and plates throughout the weekend. We had a LOT more time to cook at this event and even got to relax and play a little bit. And this keeps us a happy and dedicated Tavern staff :)

Please use this thread or PM me, Tiernen or Jester if you have any comments or suggestions. We really appreciate the feedback we get.

Cheers!

I'm glad that I was able to help out. I'll admit I was a little slow in getting some of my things put away, however when I did get a chance I did what I could.

Also, the food was delicious, makes me look forward to the next gather. :D

Thanks everyone for participating and helping out!

The super sweet corn was from Trader Joes - it's their naturally super sweet frozen corn. - Definitely one of my favorites too!

If anyone has any other food related comments or questions - feel free to shoot them my way or over to Jenn :)

Thanks everyone!

My only feedback is that you should make the day 26 hours long within the walls of the Wolf Song. Maybe then I'd have time to properly enjoy all the great food! I was bummed that I was mostly just grabbing something on the run this gather. Usually I at least have time to sit down and eat a proper meal.

In seriousness, though, the format this time where the food was out for longer and there were options for people to grab a bite to take with them was a big plus. I encourage you to keep with that format in the future!
