March Tavern Menu--eat and drink all weekend for $20

Postby Coraxonyx » Wed Mar 10, 2010 2:28 pm

A reminder to folks that we are raising the Tavern fees to $20.00 for the weekend. Meals are also available ala carte for $5.00 each and drinks can be purchased at the Tavern for $.50 each. Please be advised that while we try to provide a variety of soda types (ie. cola, diet cola, fruit flavor, lemon-lime, diet fruit or lemon-lime, Mountain Goat ;), root beer) for purposes of economy we cannot promise to have every type and brand on the market, so if you have VERY particular tastes or requirements, you may want to pick up a 2 liter or case of your favorite and bring it for yourself. We'll be happy to store your "private reserve" behind the bar for RP purposes, if you like.

It was pointed out to me that I only listed the soda on the menu. We will also have Gatorade, lemonade and iced tea available for those who may not be fans of the fizzy stuff.

Additionally, the kitchen will be available for people to store and prepare their own food, but we ask that you work with the Tavern staff to find the best times to use the facilities. Thanks!

Tavern Menu for March Gather

Would it be helpful for us to announce if we are planning to eat tavern or not (so you can decide how much to buy)? If so, Brian and I will both be doing the $20 option.

It would be TREMENDOUSLY helpful to know how many people are planning to eat in the Tavern! Thanks. I've made note of you and Ayzee, since he mentioned it in the event headcount thread.

I think I'll be eating tavern. Provided dishes don't set off my allergies.

ill be doing the tavern food thing too... even though Arie reminds me that she never actually sees me eat while NPCing. Maybe I'll have to fix that.

If I may, I'd like to make a private reservation at the bar for a box/case of soda, please.
Thanks!
I'll be eating at the tavern, but I'm not too fond about the shepherds pie. Will there be anything else like PB & J or something as a substitute?

We offered an NPC and staff rate of $10 for the weekend for those working the entire event. We will continue this. As for hamburgers, I expect we could add some patties and hot dogs to our "available all the time items". However, once they're gone, they're gone.

Also, on the topic of allergies. If people talk to me when they buy their tavern token, I will make a note of any allergies you have and prepare a portion of whatever we are making without that ingredient/s. And if you have questions about the ingredients in any particular dish, PLEASE ask. I'd hate to make someone sick because I prepare something to a different recipe than the one you're accustomed to.

Thanks.
