Tirwynn Wardance has had enough!

Postby Tirwynn » Mon Jul 12, 2010 7:52 pm

*Tirwynn walks into the Tavern with an annoyed look her face. She looks around the room and clears her throat a little...*

Everyone, may I please have your attention for just a moment. I am tired of these stupid spiders in our taverns. Because of this, I would like to become an expert spider exterminator.*sighs* Unfortunately, I have no idea where to begin. If someone would be so kind as to aid me in my efforts by explaining to me how one goes about these sorts of things, I would be most delighted.

Thank you for your time and I hope someone here can help me.

*she finds a table and sits down and begins to practice her writing skills*

Dearest Spider Slayer in Training,

I have, in my archive of wisdom and knowledge, a sure fire way of dealing with pesky spiders in your tavern:

Go to a new Tavern.

If you are truly dedicated to the mystical art of spider slaying, I recommend you invest heavily in Delayed Endow Scrolls or Potions and have a friend nearby, preferably a hundred or so burly friends with big axes, and chop your way to spiderless bliss. Another option, which is suicidal but still pretty entertaining if someone else did it, is to attack the spider queen in her den and hopefully that will scatter the mass of them before they have a chance to devour you and your burly friends.

Sincerely,

Finius Trapspringer

*eases at look at the "misspelled word* , then proceeds to slap his brother amongst the head due to the fact that the word was spelled correctly the entire time*

*cuts his brother a evil glare* If certain people would refrain from allowing thier hand to strike me, perhaps it would no longer occur

Well, if certain idiots would refrain from tempting certain people into letting their hands fly. Then it would stop.

as for the whole spiders thing we are working on the issue on the large scale. tips for spider hunters. learn some basic celestial magic. enough to cast delayed endows on it is a second lvl celestial spell and can save your life when you try to rip free of their webs. this spell may also be scrolled so for some of the less magically apt people simply having the skill to read magic and have those scrolls on hand to cast on yourself. also if the healers have any skill with an edged weapon they may cut you out if they are back packing you. one of the best ways to take down a spider is a unified effort. if you have one person with a magic armor up and maybe a perry to deflect the web rush a spider they usually pull back their web shooting glands to fight when someone is right up on them so a speedy assault keeps multiple people from getting webbed.

when in a group remember that cutting someone out of a web is more important than hitting a spider 2 or 3 times when they are not looking. hiding behind a webbed fighter to cut them out is an ok idea. even if they are going to just keep taking the webs. just keep cutting them out. that way the spiders do not make any headway.

talk to me more at the gather about spiders and what we are doing to get rid of them if you care to know.

::Nodding, he moves to take a seat. A hand reaching into his pocket as he looked around, honestly thinking he should've waited until he had a little more ale in his system.::"Um, has anyone seen Aria? I need to ask her something."
